Scottie Portrait Kickstarter reward item swap!

    In January of 2019 a portrait of Scott Jones (@Scottie)was delivered to the players as the result of a Kickstarter campaign run by @Sir Frank . At that time two versions of the portrait were released. One added to the Crown Store and the other a version with a special frame given to backers of the Kickstarter campaign who contributed $50 or more. (Note: this was not a Portalarium or Catnip Games project, this was funded through Kickstarter by players in honor of Scottie Jones, SotA's beloved artist).

    Original Kickstarter Special frame with Rainbow VFX

    It was requested of Catnip Games to create an alternate version of the Special Framed Kickstarter version for those who do not wish to have cycling VFX on the portrait.

    We have created a black framed version:

    With R122 Patch1 we have put in place the long awaited ability to swap the special framed portraits.

    If you currently have a "Rainbow Frame" version of the portrait, you may go to Ardoris and talk to the Art dealer, Caravaggios Wolf who will now trade a Painting of Scott Jones with Special Frame for a Painting of Scott Jones with Alternate Black Special Frame, and vice versa, using the “Scott Jones” keyword.

    When invoking the process, you will trade the existing Special Kickstarter portrait you have to Caravaggios and he will give you the other version.

    This ability will remain in the game, so the either Kickstarter painting version can be swapped out for the other Kickstarter version at any time.
