Houses with basements ? (Dev) Replied

I love the basement idea. As well as the many other suggestions posted. Heh, a treehouse would be fun. I had one as a kid that my dad and I spent 6 months building with a rather large budget. I lived in it for a year or two (I had electricity, heat, air conditioning, etc (the spiders where bad though)).. would be a fun thing to have in a game.

Regardless, basements are cool.

In the 4/25/13 video, it seems as if basements would be a possibility in the future and could perhaps be tied with the Underworld. Perhaps special houses could be placed on "basement plots" to receive these perks just like houseboats, lighthouses, ect are placed next to water plots for a similar perk that s not available on most plots.

Definitely, like the idea of that.

 

Basements would definitely be an awesome addition, you would be able to make that your work shop and leave the rest of the house for storage.
Or maybe vice versa :-D

 

It would be awesome if they had basements but make them instanced using a stone or stairs with a teleporter that way everyone doesn't have to load all the basements of all the houses and also you can make them as big or small as you need because it doesn't take of any space on the map that all the houses are on.

 

So, finally we will have this improvement!

Even is a basement like a figthing arena, like some of you purpoised. And few of the basements are really huge!

I feel very happy, especially when they "said" to us that could be interesting, but in a future expansion. I hope they can introduce more of the ideas in a future. Anyway no credits for us.
