Seems like I'm asking one of these every day or two.

When I finished the Solace Bridge tutorial, I had 3 maps, one of the bridge itself, one of soltown, and one of Ardoris. I remember, in my exploring, I once say a vendor I can't seem to find again, that had maps for other areas as well.

Given that my navigation senses royally suck, having city maps for the larger set piece towns is extremely important for me. I've had mail deliveries and other people recommend I take a look at solania, but without a map, the concept of trying to mentally map it out like I had to map out cities in the bad old days of launch era everquest intimidates me.

Tl;Dr, bad navigator seeks to expand her collection of in-game maps.

As Mata says, you can purchase maps, but a player named Birko improved on the in-game maps and there are several of towns available. I learned my way around Ardoris with his map :)

Welcome to the community, Harmony! As Mata and Kara have both stated, Owl's Head has a bookseller that sells maps. I can draw you a map towards him :p Karas maps would work quite well, and you could use http://www.sotamap.com/ alternatively. Its an interactive map of shroud, for the overland areas. With both sites you cant go wrong.

Assuming you're starting from Solace Bridge, you'll travel on the southern pathway/road SouthWest.
Keep traveling along the road til you see Ardoris, then double-click the ship to Hidden Vale
    [IMG]
When in the Hidden Vale, go West from Kingsport, travel north on the road to OwlsHead

Youll start at the very bottom of Owls head and walk north following the pathway, you're looking for Alvin the bookseller in the "Upper Owls Head" portion of the map.
