    I have 72 in taming skill and my large red spider drop to 43hp ????????????????????? WHAT A NERF
    it was at 340 hp before.

    Sorry port but this is laughin at our face

    You failed HARD here

    What i'm supposed to to with it now?? some spider stew c'mon

    Sorry but we can't wait for r34 to get this fixed

    I just did a test... Raised Summon pet by 5 and my pet got 5 hp ??? so to have a decent one i must have 300 summon pet and 300 taming ?

    Better get to summoning. Oh, a bit 'o combat training might help as well.

    Some useful notes:
    first, the formula doesn't scale linearly
    So 1 point at low levels doesn't give the same boost as 1 point at high levels.
    Second, taming skill doesn't affect it, summoning and combat training does.
    Third, there's more to consider than just raw hp, both damage and armor adjust with level as well, in addition to the creature's hit/miss rates.

    Your conclusion doesn't change, pets are worthless even up through 120 in each skill, with worthless being defined as whether you can use the pet in an area that is appropriate to your current character level to farm without the pet dying in less than 3 hits.

    But i wanted you to understand the factors that contribute to that, just so people can't say you need to try other things.
