Greetings from snowy Russia!

Hey, everyone! And, as the thread title says, greetings from snowy Russia (not very snowy right now though))
I just started to play SotA, and to be honest my first thoughts was: "Oh, my God! What did I put my money into?" But after a couple hours of playing and reading some guides, the incredible vibe of the game finaly got me. So I guess I'll just settle here for a while)

And since I'm absolutely sure that community is the central part of any MMO expirience, I desided to entroduce myself right away))

P.S. I hope you guys will excuse my English. I know it's just above Google-translate)) Haven't have much of a practice lately(

Welcome! I'm glad you made it past over the hill to our happy land on the other side. What you have said here may be the most important thing said in the forum all day:

Please give more detail about this. Why did you think this, specifically? The intro scene? The interface? The island where you make your character?

Since you're new you have a fresh set of eyes and your feedback is very valuable.

 

No, the first island was pretty good. But after that, when the game actually begins, and it doesn't really teach you how to play... Interface is a bit unintuitive. Fighting is really boring and frustrating until you get into all aspects of the deck system. Surely numerous technical issues does not help, but I'm sure you are aware of that.

But, like i said, after I've read some guides I loved the game)

Edit: Yeah! And the intro was awesome!)

I've said this to others who've expressed concern about their command of English--but it is still true. I'm an American living in Norway (it's cold here too). I'm astounded daily by how well Norwegians speak and write English. I come from the south-east US, and I can say, without hesitation, that folks here have a larger vocabulary and a higher grammatical understanding then half of the folks in South Carolina. And from your post it is clear that you fall into this category as well. I make this point for two reasons. First, to assure you that your English is fine and perfectly understandable. But also, hopefully, to let my fellow Americans understand that their education system (in SC anyway) needs help.
