Q1) When will quest phasing be added to SotA? I want quests I finish to noticeably affect Novia, and its many areas as originally envisioned by the team and at least a few of SotAs backers like myself.
Q2) I remember at one point random encounters such as hidden treasure/resource caches, caves, etc. we’re going to pop up on Novia. When will this happen?
Q3) When will game mechanics that allow players to conveniently find other players to meet up with for creature slaying, resource gathering, boss killing, etc. be added to SotA?

Question about Agriculture and Harvesting.
If I harvest, say, cotton one at a time, I have a chance for Field Dressing’s Meticulous skill to kick in to give me extra cotton. If I use the agriculture skill to area of effect harvest, is the Meticulous skill factored in there for a chance to gain more cotton for each plant in the area?
Q1: What’s a Paladin?
Q2: Pets on lots are limited by performance. Do those performance limitations apply to basements?
Q3: Do you see people using a large friends list to teleport as a problem?
Question about smoking…since it was included in the game when will you be able to use or equip a pipe without having to disarm yourself or remove armor? Can it maybe be equipped like a tool? Or be placed in the instrument slot if your not using one?
Q1: Our list of friends ingame has been subsumed by its use as a teleport target selector. Would it be possible to change teleport so that it targets a member of your party, rather than someone on your friends list, so we can return the friends list to its intended purpose?
Q2: With the changes to components coming (per the R47 document), how much variation in crafting do you anticipate there will be? Will the rare components be a “chase” item for crafters (so only T8+), or are they going to be common enough that even mid-tier players will be able to acquire them? Will this include alternative base types, like oak and cherry wood?
Q3: Could we get a frog animal model, which would greatly enhance the swampy areas of the game? There is a great Unity package that also includes a skeletal model! (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/37777)
I love the Ice Staff and Ice Bow rewards. I am not a bow user, but I do craft them so this makes me think back to all the fire themed items. Imagining how cool an Ice bow would look prompts me to ask if we can get a flame themed Staff and Bow or patterns in the future.

This question is about the notice or inquiring SOTAMap.
Q1: Will the data currently entered by individuals be retained? It would be a lot to recreate what is currently entered for all the POTs.
Q2: Are you going to expand the number of icons for buildings and Points of Interest.
Q3: on the opt-out for automatic entry of lot ownership, is that a Governor setting ot a lot owner setting?
According to the SeedInvest info there is a possibility of additional funding opportunity. Is there a plan to do this and if son a time line?
Can we get some smaller buildings that can be used on lots that are not houses but more storage areas. With indoor limits on item number?
If I have a lot that I don’t want to put a house on but want to use for stage, theater, Guild, or crafting reasons it would be great to have a place to store chest or other items that I or possibly a tenant might need and exceeds the 18 container limit of the outdoors.
Question 1: Could we please get an option to lock down the UI so that it’s not accidentally moved during combat? Specifically, the combat bar often moves around while trying to stack glyphs, and this is very annoying.
Question 2: Can we please have decoration mode time out after a small period of time so that we’re not accidentally moving fences, walls, chests, etc…because we forgot we’re in decoration mode? Again, very annoying.
Question 3: Can we please have an option to NOT SHOW or TRAIN other players in our party? Maybe I don’t want other players to know how many GM’s I have. Maybe I don’t want other players in my party to benefit from the number of GM’s I have. Currently, joining someone’s party means you have to do both.
One last question….
In the night sky I see lots of streaks across the sky. Some of them even seem to hit the ground. Is it possible that where they crash there might be unique crafting material to mine or gather? Maybe even a material that might be turned in to a chaos gem.
I bought a battle banner from the store for 30 bucks. Can we increase the distance it is visible from? Kinda defeats the purpose when one has to be almost next to the lot to see it.
Q1 – Will Sieges ever be meaningful and have a consequence if not cleared?
Q2 – Will the virtues matter in PVP?
Q3 – Will the world see any reason for conflict and get the sandbox elements we had in UO or similar games that stepped into its footsteps?
We still can’t place all of the Cabalist weapons as deco. Will those 3 be available to place as deco soon (Deceitful Vile Wand, Oppressive Vile Hammer, and Punishing Vile Flail)?

Quick answer on the snow/rain in houses. Yes! This should be (mostly) fixed in R47, though we may not be able to resolve all of the issues with it.
Is it possible to get a cloak version Exodus by Helen Garriott, in the Make A Difference area?
Could we get a version of the Puzzle Tree Cloak – Autism Awareness Charity that uses the new cloak technology, like Arabella’s? I love the symbolism of this item, but the newer cloaks look SO much better. I’d totally be willing to buy another version!
By the same token, in-game artwork of this symbol would be nice, especially if we could rename it for use as a dedication plaque.
1) Braemar are has lots of low level quests, but it seems there is nothing pointing low level players to go there, and by the time they finish the outskirts, they are too level to bother with. Any plans to alleviate this?
2) Many players can’t get mail because their sales have overwhelmed their mailbox. Could sales be split to a second tab, or we get a “dump all the sale records in one flush” button?
3) Streamers, event creators, mechinima creators, we could all use a “drone” or ability to place our camera for filming. How about a Hacked Oracle Eye that we can fly around and see through? Make it bright and shiny to alleviate PvP concerns, and let the movie making begin!
I kind of wish people would ask more interesting questions. The answers to the endless parade of “can we have…?” and “when will …?” questions rarely produce more than “we’ll think about it” or “soon”
I’d rather know more about their thought process, rather then spend the four hours trying to use a genie vending machine.

1) Can we have multiple non-combat bars like combat bars?
2) Can you increase the size of music file to 50k?
3) You might have answered this already but…………can you make a toggle so that we can hide the quests that show up on the desktop? Now, I click on them and hide them, but the next time I log in they are there again.
4) Can we have a toggle that makes all the skills under a tree either gain, maintain or lose instead of having to do it one by one.
5) How about adding stains for wood items?

Why don’t you have to skin a player corpse to get the body parts? I have to skin a bear to get the bear carcass. I cannot collect the entire body of the dead bear I killed without using a harvesting skill, but I can just take the skull of the avatar I killed with a simple click of the “take all” button.
This could open up a lot more options:
You use the field dressing skill to collect the carcass of an avatar killed.
Skill level of the field dressing skill determines the ransom cost.
Various butchery recipes for cutting up an avatar carcass.
If the carcass has already been butchered you may NOT ransom it back.
Appropriate karma/virtue rewards/penalties for using these systems.
1) Can we get logs on player vendors? This would be like the log we already have on containers. But, would have the details of add/remove/buy/sell event.
2) When will the player vendor interface get an update? e.g. change prices on listings without removing & adding the items again, listing age, filtering on the right side when on “manage” tabs, bulk operations (adding multiple stack at once, etc), more granular (limit users to 10 item slots), etc
3) Can we get a list of vendors on the town criers? This would work exactly like the list of lots (add to compass, etc). But, it would list all the vendor’s names.
1) I was really happy when you guys added the ability to stack buffs which increased their duration and likewise was really disappointed when I saw that it had been taken away. Any plans on revisiting that in the future? For me it is all about the duration, I really dislike having to buff more often again =(
2) I really love the new ornate scythe, are there any plans to do other weapons? I am partial to the staff =)
I agree with you. Having to recast buffs frequently is a major issue to me. What’s the purpose of casting a buff every 2-3 minutes over 10-15 minutes other than player frustration.
Just changing the duration on some common buffs would greatly increase some quality of life issues and would take hardly any time to change.
1) we could use other brit alley like npc towns (mall style), os there any way to modify the vacant or nearly vacant towns to have less empty city lots and give them more tow lots?
2) is there a plan to sell more place anywhere lots, currently you cant get them via purchase and there are 100s + unclaimed and non productive?
3) in my state weed is legal, can we have bongs?
Question 1 thats Row lots and not tow lots, but either will be an improvement over all the vacant city lots out there.
Outstanding work on the Hospital themed items and excellent charities.
I would like to help the Mayor build a Hospital in Knight’s Watch.
1) Would you consider adding Doctor, Nurse and/or Patient NPCs for PoT owners?
2) A Hospital themed building?

Shield Bash would be different …
1) Is there a plan to increase the incentive to party? RIght now a lot of players will solo, even if they prefer to play in groups because adding party members decreases exp earned. Past practice has taught me that it is more fun to adventure in larger groups, but the actual experience has taught me that it is difficult to gain exp in a large party. In this case, the negative (low exp gain) can outweigh the positive (enjoyable adventure).
2) To take the edge off of power leveling, exp could be chunked out by level. Example if 5 party members level 100, 120, 80, 90, 70=460 (Total levels) were adventuring, they would each earn (example: 920experience earned for a kill/460(total levels in the party) = 2 exp (total experience earned) x 100 (in this case the individual level of one of the players) =200exp earned from that kill x a modifier for being in a five-person party. Example x5 = 1000exp earned for a level 100 character in this example. In the same example, the level 70 character would earn 700 exp. (70×2=140×5=700)
3. Reminder – Please create champ areas in Crag Foothills and other 5 skull areas that have not yet been updated. (and the POT lawnmower, and as the land leveler is not off the board, we would like that as well.)
Hi guys. two questions.
1) One thing I would love to see is to have the UI completely modifiable by us players meaning being able to move anything to any location on the screen. for example having all the health of party members and target at the top left corner of the screen doesn’t work well for me but if I could move them to some other location on the screen great. also make things bigger or smaller as I see fit. etc I think you get what I am saying.
2) I would love to be able to detach the stats portion of the character sheet from the character image, close the character image and have only the stats portion of the character sheet on screen and than move it to a location of my choosing. I often keep the character sheet open as I play so I can monitor the numbers ie damage avoidance etc so I can see when buffs fall off.
3) During npc conversations I would love to have the ability to zoom out and in and pan around left and right. This is more specific to me because I do youtube videos of this game and lately I have been working to create videos of the quests only in “movie” format. Its rough right now because when I go into conversations its stuck on a specific view. If I can pan around and zoom in and out I could better get the shots I was after….lol My own personal wish list… If your interested search youtube for ‘drizzt shroud of the avatar’ to find what I do.

1) Would you please consider making opposing elemental statues face opposite directions, such as the Ice Elemental statue facing right, to compliment the current Fire Elemental statue, which faces left.
2) Imagine being held at gunpoint (bear with me) by a literate animal, and the only hope of rescue is (BEAR WITH ME) asking a coded question during the telethon.
3) Could we get Magic Movers to store multiple layouts with a single house deed? Currently four decoration themes for my twin spire would require four twin spire deeds.

Well for once i have no questions. Only thing i have to say is that it would be nice if QA players would go out in the world and work more on things that will be inplemented in the next release rather than running about spending all that time on crafting and artifact finds. I logged in on the release day and I myself posted at least 8 bugs in uncloned and revamped scenes. A few were NPC conversations. I would think that this is what QA was there for ….to find bugs and get them fixed before release. Maybe I am wrong. And before anyone jumps me …..i am not eligible for QA so I cant do it myself. Q: Can we get a JIra in to allow for color and fonts on bulletin board flyers and ‘blank sheet of paper’ like we have currently from books. For books we can import text which allows for this. These types of flyers do not have an import option that allows us to color code, underline, etc., extending this to these from the same model as books would be awesome. Lets add some color to our bulletin boards!
(Almost) every item in your inventory has a value. Vendors never give you this value. What is the relationship between the value they give you and the ‘full’ value? I understand that durability plays a part and that some vendors pay more but is there (or will there be) any more to this? (eg: reputation, amount sold recently, etc).
Q1: Why footsteps sounds on grass/stone/wood aren’t working in any scene?
I know there is a lot of focus right now on the Truth and Courage areas, but could you make a short pass on the T4/T5 areas in the Perennial Cost and add some interest/POI/T5+ Humanoid Camps? Perhaps the area near North Brightbone Forest could be notched up a bit with interest? A T5+ camp chance in Restless Woods? The newer areas are really awesome and I would love to see some updates to the original scene areas so we at higher levels don’t always have to travel so far from our homes for good adventure.
Just some extra clarification, there is a lack of T5 Humanoid creatures in the P. Coast. The only 5 Skull scene, Necropolis Barrows has a story line running through it that nerfs the path to the Dungeon and all the Undead in that graveyard. In order to make the area viable, there needs to be more pockets of higher level mobs in other scenes, or perhaps another T4 converted to T5 (North Brightbone?). High level spiders and animals might give good XP but are not really good for Artifacts, Gold or other Humanoid drops. Please review the scenes and see if you can make a few adjustments. Thanks!

Hello!, I’m running SOTA on a fairly old machine, 10 years old (Intel Q6600, 8GB ram and Nvidia GT730) of course I’m thinking of upgrading, but with the Unity “restriction” on use of CPU cores how low boudget can I go?
Q: Do you see in the near – mid term future Unity uising several cores of CPUs and thus improving game performace several times? or will it stick to use of only one core?
You know, if buying a $120 CPU vs a $350 one, will there be a difference in performance or same thing…

More of a comment but wanted to bring attention to the fact that a number of outfits (some of the stretch goal outfits, some current store or tax free bundle outfits) have not gotten the placeable as deco treatment. I have bug reported many of these outfits several times – are they not a priority, or were they just missed?
1.) Will cabalist boss items (weapons, hoods, robes, boots) be included in the artifact changes? (IE Cant be repaired normally and can be enchanted/masterworked?)
2.) Will the changes to artifacts allow us to socket gems? (This would let us add attunement and get spell tree specific enchantments when we enchant.)
2.) The new agriculture skills are nice, but can we get something to help with collecting water! (Water collecting is NOT FUN !!!!)
Tenants..
When can we expect to see more improvements to the tenant status? IE.
Tenants being able to place their own vendors. (VERY IMPORTANT! This should have been out already…)
Tenant permissions such as “owned by Valkaryie, accessible by kindred/trustee/co-owner” depending on tenant’s permission level. Example: Vendor owned by Valkaryie, listing permissions Kindred. Large planting bed – owned by Valkaryie, permission Kindred. Which allows kindreds to plant inside my planting bed, but prevents them from taking it.
Tenants being able to place their items on top of other tenant and non-tenant items such as tables and stuff.
Tenants not having to turn off their tenant status in their personal permissions (* key) to use non-tenant items on their lot access level, such as a trustee-tenant using a planting bed set to kindred status. The trustee-tenant will have to turn off their tenant status to turn into a normal trustee to use the kindred planting bed for planting/watering/harvesting.

Are you working on/Will you consider making a greenhouse inn for community planting?
Also to tenant questions, we need a “mark as tenant” type feature like “set to private” so we don’t have to pick stuff up and put it in our bags, then put it back down to make it our tenant item.
When can we expect to see some type of mailing/payment/reminder system for tenants who rent houses/rooms?
Question 1: Could more emotes become teachable? Especially the SeedInvest 3 magic tricks emotes?
It would be great if the investors (I have such an account) could if they so wished, share the golden magic emotes reward with the wider community of players.

Can we see some enhancements for guilds, such as being able to teleport to a guild member (instead of having to friend them first?), and letting the guildmaster designate a single POT home to be a “guild HQ” building and have it act as an additional recall point or lunar rift to it?
Can we get a type of guild influence system, such as being able to take control of a region .. and then a small bonus be given to guild members who participate in adventure scenes in that region for a given duration (harvesting, exp, etc?) For example, every week a guild’s experience earned collectively in adventure scenes in a region is calculated (as well as monsters..), and then scenes in that region are deemed to be under the influence of that guild – monsters can also be considered dominant over a scene if no guild has reached a set threshold or the monsters have more kills/exp? (if monsters control a scene, the difficulty increases slightly – or perhaps some champion monster would appear..?)
Can a guild’s virtue be collectively calculated for all members, and then members of that guild receive a slight bonus from the corresponding shrine/devotional (or other benefit)? If a guild is collectively deemed to be anti-virtue, perhaps they could receive something else entirely..perhaps chaotic?
Is it possible to make the compass points (N,S,E,W, etc.) glow brighter, or to overlay the various POI icons? The more POIs you acquire, the more they obscure the compass points, making it sometimes impossible to tell which direction you’re facing.
-What happened to all the recipes? We used to be able to travel around to all the NPCs and pick them up, but now they’re pretty scarce… Could you explain, please…

-We have granite nodes, so why do we get “granite” while mining other nodes? I get plenty of granite and don’t find any reason to mine “granite” nodes. Please change one or the other to a different material/drop… Sand for making glass or salt for making curing salt or anything really (other than granite)…

Question 4: Having just finished the banner quests, I have noted that…few noticed or cared as I passed by at a later date. When can we expect NPC/’s to remember prior interaction. Acknowledgement to one who has been given their banner?
1. Making rooms with the Shogun walls is great, helps customize so more players can have a space in a big house. Could we have the ability to hang stuff on them?
2. Will there every be a way to set bounties on players heads? Or get a bounty for doing things that are lets say unlawful? Some sorta of a quest that makes us protectors of the realms and then are able to puck up bounties so we can hunt down the unjust?
3. So how is that fist weapon coming? Or maybe some unarmed skills? We could start up a Kung-Fu Training DoJo in Arduris? Would fit right in. Is that a possibility?

“Gear Bags Please” Allow a bag to be set for gear to go to.

With the ability to have different sets of gear attached to different decks, can we get a way to store those items in a separate bag “gear bag” to prevent accidental vendoring of NPC loot? Currently you can put it in a bag, but once you change decks it puts whatever you’re wearing into you main pack. It doesn’t go back to where it came. It would be a huge help for us OCD players to remain organized with our gears sets and costumes.
At bare minimum a buy back options for x amount of time from npc vendors for those oops moments you realize after you have closed the vendor menu.

Are there plans to distribute recipes to vendors in a story driven way e.g. a famed clock maker in Brittany sells the clock recipes?
Since more potions are dropping can we get alchemy recipes to concentrate lesser potions into greater ones?
Have you considered balancing more PVE loot by having death cost gold?

a) It appears the bludgeon weapon from mob drop (i.e. Morningstar, Lich Axe and etc) has higher Strength Bonus and Parry value when compared to the craftable ones. Will the Bonuses for the craftable bludgeon weapon ever be as good as the drop only ones?
I noticed the drop only Blade weapon and the craftable ones are having the same bonus/damage value, so why craftable bludgeon weapons got the nerf treatment when compared to others?
b) (related to question “a”) Bludgeon weapon benefits the most from player strength, which is what makes it stands out from the other weapon schools. I remember (correct me if I am wrong) back then the strength bonus for one-handed bludgeon was “high” and for two-handed was “Very High”, however it is no longer the case. Will we see a boost of Strength Bonus on the bludgeon weapon in the future so it can some what match the power of other schools?
c) Are there any plans to further improve Bludgeon School to make it somewhat matching the all powerful Blade school?
d) Are there any plans to make Potion Flask reusable and the introduction of Potion Kegs to the game?

Questions:
1. Are there any plans to not allow monsters to perma heal? Give them a mana pool maybe? I fought a water elemental for 30 minutes the other day on my mid their character and its health stayed between 600-700 HP then entire time because it just kept healing. I was not in a very happy place when i left.
2. What is the plan with nameplates? Right now half the time I can see them the other i can’t. Sometimes they work at long distance in groups, sometime they fade out after a short distance. This is really making group play a rough. I’m curious what the idea for the end result is so I can play with friends again and not spend more time searching for them than actually getting to play the zone.
3. Two part question about Chaotic Feedback and the Death tree. How does the data look since the Chaotic Feedback nerf? As a vital skill in my death deck, I can say it has created a somewhat pleasant challenge for my high level death mage, but for mid level it’s basically now useless. Is the idea for Chaotic Feedback to only be effective for end game high level characters? Right now I feel like it’s pretty questionable as the skill is basically only semi useful for one death build. Even then it still cripples the ability to use the “near death” damage bonus because you kill yourself before it can really proc. Death already casts slow, is limited to being able to kill about half the monsters in the game, and just keep getting limited more and more.
Q: Will we ever see something similar to champ spawns in UO?? I think it would be a nice addition with rare drops and some kind of reward after the boss…
Spawns in PVP areas should have higher rewards then in PVE ones.. Will we be seeing anything like this in the future??
You mentioned you intend to increase ore collection in the future..can you explain a bit how will that happen…through skills or by looting ore ?

Traps (Can you adjust these so they hurt enough to kill) most the ones that should kill you only do minor damage. traps should be something you fear
