-Can you put “Loot bundles” and other treasure in treasure chests, chest/barrel mimics? Roving encounters has a good selection of loot in their chests, but treasure chest elsewhere and chest/barrel mimics are kind of disappointing…
Question: In single player would it be possible to have a survival mode and creative mode (minecraft style)? The latter would be really nice for world exploration
Question: Early on, one of the benefits of having an Aether Tower was protection; towns with a tower would come under siege less often than those without. However, sieges as implemented always occur in every town with a devotional, regardless of their protection. Could we see this protection brought back somewhat?
My suggestions for this is:
1) For each tower in the city, reduce the likelyhood it comes under siege by 15%. That would make the cities devoted to each virtue 30% less likely to be sieged (each has 2 moontowers).
2) For towns without a devotional, add rare, random sieges by bandits or undead. This would provide reasons for all towns to seek protection.
Question: The manual seems to be getting worked on, according to the standup. Can we get a preview of this? Is it Ultima-like (written as in-world, with information about atronomy, words of power, a bestiary, etc.? When can we expect to see it in its final form?
Question: Has there been any progress with the second Blade of the Avatar novel? Will there be more images from Denis Loubet in it, like in the first book? Any idea of a release date?
We got a preview of the manual in the last Avatar’s Update, so here is a better question.
Can the manual be split into a Ultima-style lore piece Manual, and a technical Play Guide? The manuals for Ultima IV – IX were collectible works of art, both in the writing and aesthetic, while the play guides were just sets of keyboard and UI instructions; that seems a much better way to present a Spiritual Successor to the Ultima spirit.
Question: Will we one day be able to set aside a portion of our POTs as a ‘free range” area, where we can raise our own animals (cows, chickens, deer, even bears and wolves) for eventual ‘harvesting”? These animals could provide a higher quality of meat than animals encountered in the wild, and possibly give higher amounts of resources as well. (Then, in Episode 2, we could raise and train our own mounts as well!)
Question: Will there be another NPC Submission round prior to launch (to meet the Kickstarter goal of creating an NPC)? Some of us are waiting for Central Brit to submit our NPC’s to be present in the Capital of the continent.
Will the graphical representation of select cities on the overland map (e.g. Brittany and its boroughs) be getting any updates in the near future along the quality/immersive level of the artwork for Ardoris?
Early on during development, I recall talk about the idea that danger would increase as night falls. Are there any future plans to implement this or bring out more select spawn or encounters as the sun sets?

Can we have the ability to place things on castle walls and in the castle wall towers?
For Vendors could we get a Vendor magic Mover so that we can rotate our vendors between our markets and or have it like a trade route system where vendors move from place to place on a schedule?
Will there ever be NPC life in POT? Going to various NPC towns you have people walking around etc. to breath life into it. A thought I had is using the row place holders if not claimed to generate a wander NPC until claimed. This would then give the impression that every house has a person living in it as well give more life the towns until people move in.
I agree on the NPC life in POT. IF anything be able to disable the merchant aspect and just use the merchant npcs available to be wandering townfolk
A row lot marker has a default house that goes with it.

Will reactionary skills like riposte, oppurtunity strike, aetheric feedback etc. ever light up when their condition has been met for the bonus? Currently they are difficult to use because you must stare at the combat log to know when to use.

Bulk order deed system was great in UO. I agree. This would be nice and would help crafters increase skills while filling the order deeds. And then get nice rewards for their return. Reward can be xp,gold, or recipe drop.
Q: When will you do the signing of all physical goods? ( I expect to see it during a telethon)
Q: Why can i find POTs in offline mode?
Q1. May we have ornamental iron patio furniture? Craftable & purchasable in store. Placeable indoor & outdoor would be appreciated.

Q3. May we have whistle audio options when summoning a pet? The current one sounds like a western movie whistle.

My question has to do with some clarification regarding a change that happened in R50.
“Item Selection: The way items are randomly selected for ransom has changed so that we only consider each item type once, so many small stacks of an item type only count as a single chance during the selection process (i.e. those of you that have been using many different stacks of items as “defense” are out of luck).”
Does this mean that ‘mandrake’ will count as one selection option regardless of how many stacks you have and if it is chosen then ALL your mandrake is taken for ransom? or does it mean ONE stack of mandrake is used as ONE selection option (your other stacks will not count towards the ransom selection process) and if it is chosen then ONLY the ONE stack is taken leaving your other stacks intact????? If it is the first one where ALL your mandrake is taken than isn’t this really damaging to mages who relay on reagents and would probably discourage them from running in pvp mode if they will only be able to last one fight before they have to go back to town to resupply???? Q: I’ve come to LOVE bag mode, but only when seeing it while looting or opening adventure chests/containers. It’s unfortunately overwhelming for player chests and my inventory due to the large # of items. Would it be possible to have yet another option to allow bag mode for adventure chests/corpses but keep list mode for inventory and player chests, such as 2 check boxes to allow for a combination of bag mode visibility?
Q: Could players in PvP utilizing Night Vision be more vulnerable to Sun Magic and other bright light attacks due to added eye sensitivity? “He’s got night vision on–blast him with Searing Ray!”
Q: Can you please explain how looting/pickpocketing players works now? Especially in regards to a large stack of items–let’s say the person has a single piece of ore next to a stack of 500 ore in their inventory.

The Oracle has her little bots scurrying and flying all over Novia. I know from time to time those things get destroyed.
Where do they get manufactured at?
Question: Will there be polish to Norgard region. Emphasis was place on Norgard region for the Clans yet none of the zones in Norgard have clans that i have seen.
2. Will the dragons drop heads more often since its needed for the Dragon hat. Dragon head drop is almost nil at the moment.
3. Barbarian clans need to have proper headgear. Is this just a miss on design or will it get changed.

Question. Is there any way that on the Overworld map that there could be a distinction of the Region boundaries. Hard to tell really the cut offs for the regions. And some zones are on the borders so hard to tell which zone they really belong in.

Question: Is there anyway to give ICONS for marking the maps. Right now we don’t have any specific icons to use as markers. IE: Monster icon. Would be great to be able to tell where such mobs spawn.

Why is always the boats to POT’s bigger than the ones to places in Novia?. Would it not make sense that boats that go a longer distance should be bigger?
When it comes to experience it feels that the crafters get no love. I have mentioned in a couple of posts on the telethons how much harder it is for crafters vs PVE or PVP players and have been told that is how it you want it to be and how the numbers do not justify it.
Adventuring total skills are 205+/- and Producer total is at 67+/- one skill either way which makes it a 3 to 1 difference in the total of skills available for both groups.
I am Adventure level 92 and Producer level 85.
Players can gain 1 million experience per hour, over lets say a period of 8 hours of playtime it averages to 7 Million exp. per day. Crafters at best can get 65k per hour on average for a total 455k per 8 hours for the same time spent in game. Base skills take 1.2M to 1.4M raise so lets look at the math. There are an estimated 205 combat related skills and I have made 7m Experience points fighting for one day. Based off of the math I can raise at least 5 Adventuring skills to GM in a day where I have to play for 2 more 8 hour days to have the 1.2 to 1.4 million to raise a single producer skill. IF I wanted to raise the same 5 skills to GM it would take me 15 days to be able to raise the same amount of skills that I can raise in Adventuring pool in a single day. This is why I stated we get no love in game and yet it is considered a vital part of the game.
Can you explain this a bit more how we can get the experience like PVE crowd?
The Producer points are added via mining materials per hour.

Question: When are the craftable versions of kitchen items / place settings coming? The R49 release notes had said the recipes would be coming in R50.
Question: Can you please review the skill level bonus on Expert Crafting Stations? +5 Proficiency means quite a lot more than +5 Skill Level, especially at high crafting skill.
Q: Sadly there is no crocodile barbarian tribe, but we have had crocodile heads for a while now but no mounted recipe or hat recipe (Sobek yes regular no). Would love to have this. Please can we?
Edit there is a wall mount for the pristine regular my mis-remembering, but there is no hat.
I’m still holding out hope for a Lizardman, which would be a great crocodile clan. Maybe an Underworld Ascendant crossover?!
1) Great release. Freaken… great…. release! It’s all coming together.
2) I’ve been puzzled by farming recently. I believe that previously plants grew right when they needed to be watered, but it doesn’t seem to work like that anymore. Is watering still on a set timer? Is it disconnected from when the plant grows? Am I just losing my mind?
3) I’ve got new Outlanders coming by the S Mart Factorium regularly to mill. If they buy the wood from me, they make a small profit by milling it and selling it back. This is fantastic, they love it, they level up their new skills, it gives me time to do other stuff.
1) What is the status of all of the “Jira’s” that I have seen submitted over the past 2 years (and therefor much longer then that). Its would be nice to have a discussion about all of the ideas I have seen asked over a long period of time with a very low percentage of them actually making it in. This is not a knock on you, because most people know you have limited resources, but whats your plan moving forward on all this small stuff, will they ever get done? How about a 3 month break before starting dev on episode 2 where you hammer out 200-300 of these small “details” things would really fill in a lot of good stuff to the game making it feel more lively (and more Ultima like).
2) With 2 months to go until release, when is the “marketing” of this game going to start?
3) Can you verify without a doubt that our clients are not mining crypto? I still dont understand how my client spins my gtx 1070 at 50% while just sitting in a one story basement doing nothing.
It seems to be hit or miss lately on items stacking in inventory for the purposes of selling in stacks on vendors. Tombstones, headstones used to stack but longer do, Ancient clay pots do not stack but vases do, Bierkrugs, shackles, wall mirrors are some of the new items that do not.
Q: Can we get a community sourced thread of items that do not stack that are not containers and then perhaps get the stacking flag updated for these items.
Q1. Could we get ability to manipulate the boats and balloons as pot owners to move them to different locations?
Q2. Can we get the ability to place items in castle / keep wall towers. Would love to put house items in them , tables chairs lights, banners etc.
Q3. Will POT owners every have ability to upgrade to map access? Last QA there was a question on having POTS listed on the map lists but many people in forums and discord would like an option at some point to upgrade POT to a map level if possible. Please with cherries and whipcream, will even throw a sword in that cherry if it helps
[Q1] Control points can be trivial or leveled to the point of being death traps. There should be some indication at the entrance of the zone as to the current difficulty.
[Q2] Please explain the ‘fun’ of roaming encounters. They make the over world seem more alive but it is no fun to sit thru two scene load. They cannot be avoided because they run three times your speed. You have no option to skip. No fun. Can it pop up a dialog to ask if i want to investigate or avoid?
[Q3] Locating recipes is tough. I understand recipes in loot and the regional recipes. Shouldn’t there be some way in game to find this information? Maybe every recipe vendor should be able to explain the locations of recipes. Tell me the town; Tell me it is a loot drop; Gimme a hint that makes the game playable.

Q: Why do crystal/gem nodes only give 100xp regardless of tier location. The same risk is present as with ore nodes in terms of mobs to clear, why the smaller xp amount?
(some gathering are like this as well garlic, nightshade etc in t5 zones)
Also, consider secondary drops in gem nodes. You might mine ruby, but get some quartz as well. Similar to mining Iron and getting Tin.
Question: If i choose not to redo the Main quest when the game goes live is there a way that the quest items can be unlocked out of my inventory. I DO NOT want to redo my quests. So there should be an option for me to pass and have all that stuff unlock so i can put it all on display or in the bank.

Question 1: Presently in POT’s Town Deco, There is no difference between Owner and Steward (Steward can remove anything placed by the Owner). Can we get a Owner Level above Steward so Owner items are locked down.
Question 2: Can POT’s get the ability for Owners/Stewards to set items to Private. (This way a Steward can Donate Deco they buy, But be able to lock it down to their name. ) (This may take care of Question 1 at the same time.)
Question 3: Presently only the windows for Chat, Has the ability to have its background set to Opaque. Will we eventually get the ability to set all the windows to Opaque. Inventory, Emotes, Social, … (So we can read what’s in them easier.)
Love Q1 and Q2 its why I don’t use stewards because well its my stuff! and while you think you may know someone, things happen. Also allowing this would allow more folks to contribute to POT and feel more part of the community if they can loan items out to the POT. Love it.

An interesting idea Polaris! We’d do that, but, then people would be asking questions just for the sake of getting the prize I think :(.
True, but on the positive someone maybe asking for the sake of trying to get a prize, however the question itself could still be of quality. It could also be restricted to ones answered live on stream only too, although this adds to your workload :(.

Q3. For older players – could you consider making the top-left buff dashboard an option to make it a little bigger? Alternately (and I know it’s getting a little busy) could you consider using the combat bar glyph itself to show duration (along with cooldown, etc) of an active glyph?
Context: I have to keep track on whether Spellbinder’s Stance, Bolster Balance, Dodge, Deflect, and a DA skill are still active and/or running out, and it can be hard to distinguish the tiny little buff in the top-left.

Question: Will there be any special in-game event for launch? When UO ended beta, there was a huge in-game event involving all the devs. That one devolved into death for everyone involved, so we could skip that part, but I think it would be great to have something special to commemorate this event.
Why has you not added more ‘Magic Mover Slots ‘ to add-on store?

Are there plans to extend batch size to the sub component creation (i.e. straps, bindings, bolts of cloth, yards of leather). Not asking for efficiency for those that would be overpowered, but batch size and speed affecting all items made in the crafting school would be nice to have.
Question: Now that we have the ability to craft hanging baskets may we have them set to be used externally and not just internally? In RL hanging plants are used more outside than inside.

Why something like the monkey room still exist as it is ? This place is probably less risky than other one when you get the proper skills and level, but the rewards are WAY superior. In other terms, it’s just mindless grind.

Will the dual wield enchanting/masterwork problem be solved before release?
Example: All one handed weapons/wands provide more bonuses than 2 handed versions. This renders most 2 handed weapons useless. The effect is bigger on wands vs staffs, but also applies to all other weapons that are more relient on certain skills/spells than auto or charged attacks.

Given that many people play games to experience the kind of power, wealth and good fortune that they will never find in real life, what is SotA doing to satisy that desire in game?
Concerning PVE and PvP.
Will the combat system ever include deaths involving arms, legs and heads being severed or special deaths caused by magic like complete fire immolation to our opponents or exploding opponents?

Column headers disappeared in the last update to the Crafting UI, so now you cannot sort the list in reverse order

To Chris. With the changes to the stat buffs (having to choose str, dex, or int) wouldn’t that give an advantage to heavy armor vs light? because heavy has it’s own STR buff. Giving heavy 2 buffs and light only one doesn’t seem balanced.
1-Im in love with the one mastery skills! Will you guys have a mastery for taming, or the others adv, skilltrees?
2-Could we please get only one mastery for crafts too?

How is the decay on a skill calculated? In particular I am curious how the decay increases at skill lvls 40, 80, 100 is determined. For example if it takes:
27k (lvl 1 to lvl 40)
153k (lvl 40 to lvl 80)
1.032 mil (lvl 80 to lvl 100)
(Total of 1.212 mil to go from lvl 1 to lvl 100)
If I have a skill at lvl 100 is the decay determined by (0 * 27k) + (.5 * 153k) + (1 * 1.032mil)
OR just (1 * 1.212)?
If I take the skill to level 101 does that mean my decay is determined by (2 * 1.212 mil)
Or is the x2 only applied to the exp above lvl 100??
UPSHOT: How big of a decay hit is it to take a skill from lvl 100 to lvl 101?

Q1: Can we expect to see more contents like Chilblains Compendium and Boreas Colossus (Progressive rooms/stages dungeon crawling with a big final challenge)? I like the idea players have to meet progressive challenges, bosses and mini-bosses to reach the end of the dungeon.
Q2: Can we expect to see a more meaningful aim system (locked cursor mode) with increased spell/melee/ranged critical chance when someone is under the crosshair?
Q3: For immersion purposes, can you add some epic music or effects for example when the boss fight starts or entering in special rooms in dungeons (to fill the lack of cut-scenes)?
Q: Can you make mushrooms in The hollow Village Log House solid?
Q: Any plan for removing the steal ability to imps and reducing/removing their gold loots , and fill again maps (like boreas) with them? They have become really rare monster and i think all likes killing hordes of evil imps!
Q: Can we have a bit of love for the wizard hat? At the moment it has really bad stats, cause for crafting it you can use just 2 bolts and 2 spools, compared to 4 bolts and 2 straps of the epic cloth helm.
Q1: As the upcoming Mastery in magic schools is set up at the moment, isn’t that destroying the class less system? Or what’s the idea?
Q2: Other upcoming features like the resistance skill which will give minus to opposite school, and set bonuses, doesn’t that destroy the “you can set up you character however you want” vision?
Q2: Allowing RMT will bring system abusers and it can easily get out of hand, does this not concern you? Because for me that’s pretty much pay to win even though it’s not you who provides the service/items.
