2 servers 2 choices

I dont want sheep. I want all pvpers who can stand up for themselves and not run away and hide behind the protection of the built in game mechanics that inhibit my ability to play the game the way i see fit.

 

you still didn't answer my question "Whats the problem with pvpers getting a game we want and because you have failed to answer the question i will tell you the answer.
ANSWER: a long time ago some bad person in game come along and did something mean to the pvers, instead of pvers standing up for yourselves you ran and told on them. So now pvers have a complex that all pvpers are bad and will do or say anything to injustice the pvpers.

 

I answered you question, you just do not like the answer. You will never get the type of pvp that you like because this is a consensual game only. You need to come to terms with it. Consensual. Consensual. Consensual.

 

hahahahahahah consensual if fine with me, go ahead and repeat that to yourself "consensual is fine with him" what i want is a separate completely isolated server for only pvpers who CHOOSE to have a character on that server, now that character can never leave that pvp only server they ARE consenting to pvp by making there character on the pvp server only. i know this may be hard to undersatnd but do your best.

It's been explained time and time again.

There are many mechanics in SotA that are being used as solutions that completely alter the UO model.
There are many new mechanics that cause the UO model to be complete incompatible comparisons.

Separate servers was a band aid to the lack of forethought. The impact of the Fel/Tram split disenfranchised the PvP playerbase. It made a new game.

To honestly develop a full open PvP server it would need it's own set of rules. Rules designed around what those players want. From the ground up. Anything less would make the PvP server players 2nd class citizens.

The design direction of the combined servers is in direct conflict with the split servers. To go with a split server is giving up on the combined design.

The same as the people looking for a science fiction first person shooter. Some things don't fight the model.

The better question is going to be how to fit the element of PvP you enjoy into the SotA model. But if you are intent on game play like stealing items from players purchased with real money, you are barking up the wrong tree.

 

Pvp players are already second class.

Well thats good As for banging my head i will bang my head till it bleeds if i have to, because it that important to us hardcore pvpers. I really feel sorry for you becuase you obviously never had the opportunity to enjoy UO the way it was originally designed to be played Fel only. I believe you missed out on what could have been a life changing game.

 

I played uo and I played siege. This game is not UO or Pre tram. If you think it is then you need to revisit the kicksstarter.

 

There is an interview with RG where he details his thoughts on the segregation of the players. If I could find it I would link it.

But that's only one issue he describes.

Economics is another big issue. Think about what happened when they split the world in UO. Now do that in reverse for the PvP server you are wanting.
