I just purchased a commission free vendor and set it up outside my house. There seems to be only one commission free vendor, and I am not thrilled with how it looks. Is there some way to modify its appearance to make it more pleasing?
There are a number of different skins (patterns) in the crown store. There's also a cash register vendor that you can purchase for gold in-game that you can salvage for a pattern.
Which crafting station is used to apply the pattern to the vendor? If items have already been placed in the been placed in the vendor for sale, do they have to be removed prior to applying the pattern?
I don't remember which station. Maybe carpentry? Also, I don't know if the vendor needs to be empty. Mine was empty and I never tried with items on it.
