Economic Auto-Farming?

    How will the Shroud team prevent mass numbers of people setting up accounts and PCs specially purposed for farming game resources then selling them on eBay?

    If they can't then there will always be some kind of $ / Gold exchange ratio and that's a Been There Done That.

    I did buy Gold for UO on eBay, and some other stuff...

    Will that practice still continue in Shroud?

    Can't see as how it would since it's not an MMO with centralized servers, and since the multiplayer component is an ad-hoc thing limited, for the most part, by and to those people you allow the game to know about via your email contacts, Facebook/G+/LinkedIn/Twitter friends, etc.
