I think it will be mostly
    1. POTs owned by guilds
    2. themed POTs (like RAT's Nest for example)

Entirely possible. I freely admit I've not read all 40+ pages. However, if the proposals I've missed include imposing restrictions on me over removing whomever I wish whenever I wish, my previous statement stands.

Well, I'm going to oppose that for all the reasons I have stated so far in the post.

    The latest idea was:

The ability to ban for 1 hour from your pot, a second ban after that 1 hr ban can be a 24 hour ban with a automatic report to Port.

Lot rental agreements that have players able to rent lots for an amount of time so the PoT owners cannot evict on a dime. Still can be overturned if player is causing an issue that is against ToS.

I seriously doubt you'll get your wish no matter how long you goad and repeat your desire in an effort to make it appear that this is a concern for more than a handful of people. And, should your suggestion be implemented, there will be a town with map access up for sale.

That was an unnecessarily nasty way of putting that.

Do you think I alone am responsible for 44 pages? Do you think this is just going to go away?

If we don't accept that there needs to be some control and this will end up blowing up in our faces and ruining this game from being successful. People will rip this to shreds if even one person is able to abuse this system.

I don't even think we have a very diversified amount of people posting here anymore.

You still have full control of your PoT, no one is taking that away. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't change anything other then add some checks and balances.

I disagree with your position in its entirety.

You're responsible. No, I think it's going to be said until the thread is locked and then you're going to start a new thread or continue your horrible logic in one already created. It's kind of what you do.

    Care to explain?

If you don't like POTs, you don't have to go there.

Because it would be a major restructuring of the deal when I bought the town in the first place. Go read the post linked behind my signature. I bought the town with the understanding that within its borders I am the law.

I don't hate the 1 hour/24 hour ban suggestion, but I vehemently oppose forcing all inhabitants of a POT to tolerate the antics of a griefer just because he has a lease. That's Pay to Grief.

But I want to like them, I just don't like the current iteration. Think I'm allowed to say that, or is that not allowed in your game? Or is it our game...I'm getting confused now with what you believe don't at this point.

According to the sales page you have the right to evict, not ban.

You would just ban him, and he's gone....then you petition to have him removed. Would do the same thing....just make sure you have a valid reason.

I do not think PvP towns have ban permissions, unless something has changed. If so then please disregard this.

I just want to clarify, there really are not any "bans" from Player town owners. You will be moved to a single player instance. You will not have to log out and log in single player it will happen automatically. You will have access to the bank in single player if "banned". You will have access to the vendors if "banned". I do however think this is a good post if there was not so much snarkyness by the people that want to bash other peoples concerns. Say your piece then be done with it, not copy pasting out of topic redundancies. There are many valid points that could be debated instead of just the group bashing thats going on. This is just MHO though.

Nope. I don't want Portalarium distracted by and bearing the cost of a constant stream of distractions when the requisite power to evict can be and already has been delegated.

I think that is an assumption that is untrue.

Check with Vengeance and Chaos Crossroads though, as they may have banned some people.

I know I certainly have an option to Ban in Rats' Nest, but I choose not to use it...ever.

This picture says you can restrict lots, not ban anyone.
