I would like to thank all those who put on this event. @Audacity, @Silis , @Kor (Excellent tutorial), @Kvow Triumvir, @Xeen Dread, and anyone else I missed on this list.
I came out of that with a lot of information and find that I need a great deal of work in my defenses .
For a first event at the PvP Dojo, you guys did an excellent job. I was very impressed.
Also, thank you for the link to the video. I can now peruse through it and catch anything that I missed.
Hopefully, I will be able to attend the next class.

Oooo, nice pictures. Especially that last one. All in all though, the event was a total success in my opinion. Love the community in this game.

 

Was to late for this European at 1am start time so couldn't come, but watched the video and very informative.

 

We will def schedule some of the classes on the weekends for our European friends.

We should make a time slot after the class for informal PvP "speed dating". If you're on the combat field you can ask to duel anyone. Once they take their weapon out (or start casting) the fight is assumed on.

I got the impression that people wanted to fight but didn't quite know the rules.

In UO for a duel so when we knew when to actually start, one player magick'd a wall between them, when the wall dropped it was game on, was a great way to say 'go'!

 

That's a great idea that we can quite literally do!

I was talking about the free for all time when anyone can get on the field and get a few fights in with whomever they choose before they need to leave (for those on a tight schedule). Unstructured and numerous fights at once that are self moderated. It's sometimes nice just to get round after round in with deck edits and casual chitchat.

 

I need to attend this! Will be there for the next . Meanwhile...

Will be watching the video too. Couldn't make it to the class, it was a workday alas.

And for me since my time zone is 14 hours ahead of Texas time.

 

Was interesting to find out you could switch glyphs in the combat bar while active if they are locked. That seems like it may be intentional and has just enough of a pain in the arse feel to be useful but hard to abuse. But the dropping the consumable in a locked slot to unlock it? That seems more like a bug and unintended consequence of putting one consumable ina locked slot. Don't really see a big advantage to it but wonder if it is something they intend to fix.
