Those Stocks are just sitting there, the pair of them, in Owl's Head, doing next to nothing really.

What if they actually worked, and were used as punishment, for in-game crimes?

Perhaps murderers or thieves, once captured, could redeem themselves after a couple of hours in The Stocks?

Of course there would be player 'work-arounds' such as logging out during your punishment time. So the time in the stocks would need to be spent while that character was logged in. Of course, a 'crim' could also just go eat dinner and watch TV.

A tally or Rap Sheet could additionally be accessible, for each character, detailing any criminal history and punishment? This listing could be accessible from the SotA website and perhaps be updated dynamically?

A lot more thought could go into this broad idea?

Also, those guillotines are just sitting there...

I hope that they'll make use of those objects in-game. Even if it's just to hold NPCs that you can interact with and perhaps even get quests from. But as the mantra for design goal #2 goes: if it looks like it can be interacted with, then it should be interactive in the game. It would be fun to see though, if players can get locked up in the stocks though.
