Hi there! I forgot to pay the rent and the property was confiscated from me and the house was completely empty. So far so understandable. But where are my furnishings, paintings, bed, pool, weapons, etc.? There all gone! Where/from whom can I get my belongings back? Thanks!
Sounds like you had a row lot home. Row lots automatically have a house when placing a lot marker (where larger lot markers are empty). If you just used the placement home, then your decorations are in the bank. If you did use your own home, then check the property manager if you cannot find your stuff in the bank.
Even deco in a default home will be placed in the property manager when it falls these days. It will say something like 'default house' in the manager slot the deco is in. But replacing the house and deco on the lot only works if you choose a lot with the same default house for those- so same spot you lost is fine but if you find a spot that has a different default house you may need to send the contents to your bank and re-decorate same as if you had switched to a different house you bought or crafted. You can find the property manager in the list when you click on the window selector icon in the upper right corner. If you don't see anything in the slots there or if you stopped paying your taxes more than a year and a half ago then check your bank for your items.
I found my house including all items in the property manager, send it to my bank account and there all my items appeared!
