Will we have snowy areas for housing?

    I was really impressed with the snowy environment introduced in R10 and would love to have the ability to own a home in such an environment. Are their any plans to add a snowy environment where player lots will be available?

    hmm.. I think seasonal weather was a stretchgoal of sota ... did we reach that? :D

    Snowy areas are cool, but much cooler is a winter season where all the regions get snowy from time to time.

    Why not have the land fill with snow during certain pre-arranged times, like they did with UO. Basically they have two versions of a map and switch them at certain intervals. This way you can experience snow practically everywhere :)

    I like the idea of slow-developing seasons like with have in RL. Spring, summer, fall and winter. Maybe cycle through a season once a week or once a month.

    I think they were saying that building up snowfall in a scene would be a really hard task. But it would be really cool if they could accomplish it.

    Good question for sure...I'm hoping for pens...and the greenhouse should make fragile plants and trees safe. Snow-type plants and animals should thrive in a snowy area.

    I love the whole environment effecting things...Hope this can be implemented.
