Question: Can we add “Near Death” to summoned undead (skeletons, liches)?
Question: Instead of having undead summoned creatures decay, could we have casters lose MAX health? (50 for skeletons, 75 for liches) That might allow for a balanced way to have multiple summoned creatures.
Question: Can death magic get a “control undead” spell that works kind of like the Moon Magic spell, Animal Charm?

Question: Can “Ground Pound” be turned into something more plausible as a martial arts (bludgeon) attack? Most other physical (non-magical) attack skills approximate a realistic form of attack, but not this one – pounding the ground with a mace or axe to harm people?
I’d suggest changing this to something else (maybe a spinning attack named “Wild Swing” or some such), it could keep the same effect but different name and animation, while some other more magical glyph (perhaps a combo between an earth magic glyph & bludgeon glyph?) could be added using the existing dirt-beating emote (and could be named Ground Pound, just in case such is dear to some hearts .
Need I say pounding the ground with an axe really doesn’t do it for me as a mundane attack?

I agree. Ground Pound would be an excellent Combo to use with Bludgeon+Earth magic, but I’m not thrilled with its current placement.
Question: I love ignite weapon. Can we get a similar self buffing spell for other elemental types of magic? Like frost weapons, lightning weapons, etc.
Question: Recent armor updates like the elven elder armors, reinforced cloth, etc are excellent! Are there plans to update the other existing sets to the same high quality or do you intend to make entirely new armor sets that looks just as good?
Question: Cloaks give us that nice single point of damage resistance for wearing them. Could this be extended to the add-on store wings since they occupy the same slot?

Question: Are we going to see any changes to the Elemental summons? This has been brought up several times in the forums. Tamed pets outmatch/class summons hands down. Effectiveness…..I have no idea what it is even being effective at. Can we see the summons scale possibly, like what is going to be happening with tames come R33? (If I read that announcement correctly).
Question: Can yall bring back the visual effects to weapons with gems socketed and/or enchantments on them. I liked that in the past releases, and also, it sort of gives our weapons a different look to them, so they kind of stand out.
Question: Can you please give us an option to turn off the auto-lunge-attack when you get to close to your target. Even if I’m running to another spot in a scene, with weapon drawn, if I cross a bunnies path, I shoot over to it and murder the crap out of it. Also, makes positioning and movement while in combat VERY annoying; I back up…but wait, I feel the sudden urge to lunge forward again!

The random movement during melee combat is really bad. Randomly lunging off of ledges to your death, circling into lava, and turning your back to your opponent is incredibly frustrating and makes me wonder if these changes were even tested.

I’m hoping that the overworld map icons for Brittany are simply not complete. If there was a fully walled city, and you could only enter one of the submaps directly, but there was a balloon and wagon on either side to access the central map, the current functionality would be expected.
I was thinking there could be a town crier there, and maybe dress it up a bit so the balloon is more apparent

Will there be a ‘change deed’ feature added to player housing so that we don’t have to unclaim the lot and risk losing it?
Will the default entrances of any of the existing NPC or PRT towns change or are they locked in? (many players made their lot selections based on current default entrances)
Will the external object and other limits be increased in POT’s? I’d like to make my town look nice but finding it difficult as a small POT owner to compete with PRT’s that have the core NPC’s (guards, npc vendors, etc)

Some biome choices and town plans were made based on the scenes we could visit via Hometown. For at least the Mountain Biome, the entry point from the Overworld Map is in a completely different place than it was when entering from Hometown.
Q When will mouse movement not require additional buttons (mouse 3) in combat with auto-attack off? The control paradigm needs a polishing to ensure that users move consistently regardless of other modes and status. Keyboard users have this, now just needs to be polished for mouse movers. Thanks

Yes, please can we have this. We want to be able to sell grab bags and crafting materials as packages. Such as a backpack for sale with viewable contents, consisting of exact tools and materials needed for recipes along with book instructions in a single bag for sale on a vendor. Among many other uses such as an entire set of armor or a swordsman kit. Reagent bags with every reagent, etc etc.
Question: any chance for a “Captain” title in game? It is for my RP. Even if I have to quest for months to get it. I’d appreciate the opportunity.

With the recent changs to root, you have removed the tactical elements of being able to manouver around the battlefield in order to a) do increased damage from behind the enemy and b) reuduce damage taken by being behind the enemy. These two elements of combat added interesting choices in battle that made it tactical. The changes also made the ultimate skill in polearms skewer less powerful than the penultimate skill legsweep. I can understand an enemy continuing to attack when rooted, but I cannot understand why the enemy is free to rotate which allows them the freedom to keep facing you to attack and avoid your battlefield positioning efforts.
Q: Can you please explain how changing this root behavior to one which removes an interesting combat tactical choice can improve the gameplay experience?

When you summon one, you have to keep setting it to aggressive, defensive or passive
Anyway that you could make so once you summon one they ALL stay that way so once they decay away or you zone, you summon another you don’t don’t have to set it again.

Q: Are there plans to seriously look at chain lightning. This spell has been far to powerful for far to long and the vast majority of people in PvP are simply playing air mages and standing there chain casting it. For example, I have 500 hp and I was standing in the crowd and died from both combatants casting it even while I was literally chain healing myself. If the spell can take me out standing up on top of castle walls 30+ game feet from the people casting it, we need it looked at.
Q: Are there plans on making quick travel in cities much like Adoris (reference my posts on this). Brit central for example has all of its main areas on the completely opposite side of the zone from the entrance as well as PoT boat locations. This is a really long walk. Cant we get some kind of “shuttle men” in large city zones please?
you guys kinda answered this, this is my follow up.
We need transport *IN* each zone. For example, the door you port into Brit central is on one side of the zone completely opposite to where everything is at the docks. We need a gondala (I dont like the idea of “air”, it should maybe be horse) from the door to the docks. I dont see the need to make them into other Brit zones, just give their doors a quick travel *in*the zone.
Q: It would be real nice if you guys did these Telethons on a Saturday. Just give the team a monday off. As you know, most of the players of Shroud probably work (especially us backers who have to come up with money to hel back). Please take this under consideration. Im pretty much not going to be able to watch the telethon again.
Q: CRAFTING: could you guys please alter the crafer nodes (trees/cotton, ore, etc…) to have more then one entry point to activate the items. clicking on a tree and then walking around it 300 degrees to get to its activation side is really odd and gets old after a while., whats worse is when there is something blocking the walk around and your avatar goes off in some weird direction and pulls agro from everything.

Question: It’s been stated that an average player should be able to make 3500g per hour in SotA. Is this still the goal? What is the hourly gold rate so far in R32? Describe what is meant by an average player?
It is currently very easy to earn upwards of 10k/hour doing a number of things from gathering to mercantile to straight hunting high value targets and selling their drops.
Ballparking the last method (because the market is volatile and it is stable, for now), I’m able to clear 13,000 an hour or maybe even more… but that’s just farming straight gold coin, which doesn’t do much for your exp gain/skill training.
I’m a noob that just recently learned about and started playing SotA a week or so after the final wipe. I’ve learned, developed, and acquired much in a short time. I just hate how there are serious game elements that can only be acquired through paying tons of cash… I can handle the alpha bugs
I might be new, but I’m far FAR above average.
R32 saw a new melee implementation that can be best described as the dance of the avatar where the avatar randomly moves toward the mobs causes different mobs to be targeted, moves you on top of the mob, or can put the avatar in a position where you need to change the camera’s position. Why was this change implemented? How is it going to be modified and update moving forward?

(Tax Free) House Deed upgrades… These have been spoken of on and off, but will that possibility come, and how would it influence Tax Free status???
Obsidian Coins and Repairing. Is there any way that with Obsidian Cons we can purchase Block/Bulk repair deeds per a coin, Maybe get 3 repairs for 1 coin. Right now as it stands it averages about $9 RL Coin to repair a full fighting set w/weps and jewelry?? ((asking for friend who cannot be present))
Question: There are 2 obsidian potions that impact gathering: expedience (gathering time) and precision (meticulous collection). What is the impact of these pitons when you reach the master and gm levels in the respective gathering skills? How close to 0 impact do they have?
Question: I love everything related to the Obsidian, we got Obsidian Tower for village and town lots but nothing for City or Row. the Viking/Kobold got love on all sizes please don’t forget about Obsidian
Question: Can you share stats on travelling throughout New Brittania? Total distance covered, number of teleport/recall scrolls used, number of deaths whilst trying to get through passes, what percent of avatars are using their mounts, highest number of towns/scenes by a single avatar etc.

Can the collision area for trees and shrubs be reduced? I’d like to place objects closer to trees, including other trees, shrubs, small buildings, etc. This also applies to shrubs.
Question: When approaching a town on the overland map, you are presented with one button that allows you to enter the city. After clicking the button, you are transported to the default gate/entrance for that town. My question is: instead of having one “Enter” button, can several buttons be presented, allowing the player to select which gate they wish to enter the town from?
For example: When near Brittany Fields on the overland map, the player is presented with a “West Gate” button and a “South Gate” button.
Please give us detailed information on how exactly the taming will change with R33. What level summon will have to be, for example, to summon an Obsidian Wolf, or Large Red Spider?
Q: Would it be possible to have a Raid option when grouping with more than 8 Players? When doing control points it would be helpful if everyone working together could earn XP.
Q: Last telehon I asked if it was possible to have a buy back option at a merchant when selling something by mistake or lock various items not to sell. Has there been any more discussion on this?

Q2: Can you please remove the auto-movement “lunging” in combat? It makes it extremely difficult to both position yourself to the side/behind for increased damage… and to retreat when you’re in danger (backing up to get out of attack range just sucks you back in and turning to run away puts your back to the enemy which increases damage taken).
Q3: Why do I have issues interacting with objects via mouse double-click on a “slower” machine? The new E interact hotkey works almost instantly 99% of the time but I can click with a green cursor 20 times in a row with no interaction.
I’m now forced to point my reticle and hit the E key whenever I want to interact and that’s not always easy, especially when there are multiple interactive objects in close proximity.
Q4: Since the lottery system will be the only way to obtain lot deeds in-game, how will we get them in Single Player Offline mode? Will they simply be added to merchants in an upcoming release?
Question: How goes the work on the Atlas
Please touch on “future plans” players have to look forward to for the longevity of the game – after the skill-grinding and story. What things might a solo player accomplish (who plays in multi-player) have to look forward to?
Question: Originally, the Selective Multiplayer system was promoted as allowing us to play in the mode of our choice, with only those who we want to see. However, there are scenes that force us into Single Player (or Group-only) mode, and there is some discussion about scenes that force us into Open Multiplayer. As someone who wants to play with my family and control the online interactions they see, can we please focus on removing the mode changes and find other ways to promote differing game states or play styles? Flags that hide NPCs and resources should be easy to apply, so to control benefits for those not playing in the “correct” mode. If forced multiplayer is going to be a thing in SotA, I don’t believe I will be able to keep my other accounts. =(
Can we finally get benches as town deco. I’m tired of standing.
How about: An idea to have more game economics information in-game: Have public (only) vendors be able to produce a list of the (100 – 200) last closed transactions on that vendor, with time, item and final price. No names. Extra Credit – have it ‘print’ the info onto a blank paper page if you have one.
This way we could see what is actually selling on the vendors, and perhaps create an in-game ‘market information’ path.

Unfortunately, You Tube uses one identity name, Discord uses yet another name, and neither of those are my Name here. So…. I wasn’t in it for a chance at a prize… but be aware there are complications that may be involved with requiring an account-recognizable name.

Question; So as to make the game more realistic, are you considering letting activities like mining or blacksmithing slowly increase your strength stat over time? Dexterity could raise slowly by running or jumping as an example.
Do i need to buy the game before i pledge 5$ to get the items or can i do that now and buy the game later?
