Not nearly enough clutter on your desktop....need more icons for me to pretend to be a stalker while sifting through them.

I don't get your comment on pay for iCloud. Screen Shots are local to the Mac.

I don't want to start a tangent about how Apple tries to lock you into their software, but ... they really do. It's good if you only have an iPad, iPhone, iMac, and iCloud, but trying to leave the apple universe is a pain in the rear. It's getting harder and harder to do things Apple doesn't want you to do, and they nickle and dime you for every little thing.

Google has all the same stuff that Apple has in the cloud, but you can access it from any computer without paying for a piece of software or trying to figure out how to get your photos out of your phone. Sorry Mac has lost a lot of user friendliness that it had just a few years back. I can mount my android phone's filesystems on a Windows or a Linux system no problem, and drag and copy any of the files anytime I want. I can even delete all the files if I wanted.

Consequently I cannot mount it on a Mac without some special software. Why not? Because it's a closed system and you have to buy their stuff. In fact I cannot even mount my iPhone on my mac to drag and drop pictures without buying the right software. What a joke, as if the phone wasn't expensive enough? I have a Macbook Pro so I don't just have a thing against Apple, but I don't buy into the whole Apple universe I think it is poison and an enemy to freedom. The Macbook is cool, but I'll never buy an iPhone or an iPad though, my Galaxy S3 is better and much more open than anything running IOS.

Awesome Lum! Just curious -- how far back are you going to support for OS X versions?

iCloud is free for the first 5GB.

AFAIK we're only going to officially support 10.9 Mavericks since we don't have the luxury of testing on old OSs.

is iCloud easily accessed though a web-browser? Can you rumage through your videos and pictures and download them to any computer? and when you buy iCloud you get 15GB right? Google does all that for free including the 15GB.

My point was that iCloud can be free which you implied was not. Just use what works best for you. I use multiple services as each provides something better than others. And storage itself isn't a selling point as there are unlimited ones out there for free. It's how well those features work (and work together) that is more important.

I don't think the SotA UI looks pretentious enough for the apple port. It also needs more brushed aluminium and soundbites about changing the world! =P

On a serious note though - it's nice to see it is being developed this early for multiple platforms - that means more players and support!

Guess it is time to make the free upgrade from 10.8.5.

Any word if the installer / patcher / game will be available for R2, or should I re-build my Bootcamp partition while upgrading to 10.9?

If not can someone look into maybe letting a small batch Mac users at least test out the initial installer or patcher so we can help get it ready for R3 or R4? ;) (please?)

We can at least infer from the screenshot that something was usable at 1:18pm local time on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. If only you had ActivityMonitor running so we could see CPU usage history or RAM usage or something.
