Why i flag myself PVP

I PVP because i like it. I love the feeling, when you are rushing to despise ( UO ) and there is 4-5 blues doing their champ and you just go in, alone to challenge them, to tease them, to hurt them. ( By hurt, i dont mean real physical world hurt hurt..). I do like the rage that get as result, when someone spends 30minutes to private message me, how his friends could have won me.

I like to PK, because i'm hunter. I seek for the innocents, i smell their fear from looong distances. I hit them easy, to make them bleed, i watch them suffer, i might even finish them, if i'm in the mood, but first i feast with their flesh. I like the feeling, when 2+ brave warriors just wait for you to attack. They are afraid of me, but they feel brave in pack. They are fooled by numbers.

Even when typing this, i can get in the "mood".

I was PK, a red murderer, but i was fair. I did not kill players that were obviously beginners, unless they made a mistake to attack me. I never re-kill, unless they attack first. After good fight, i resurrect my opponent and protect him, while he gets ready. I even heal him fast, so none else gets to him while hes recovering. I salute and leave him there, to wait for the next meeting.

At one time, at Europa i had a shop that sold armors "Made in Finland", was the crafter. My brother and i would always cut the armors of the victims, unless they used my armors. My shop was in felucca, yet it was fight free zone, if you are shopping and/or wearing my armors.

I PVP not because i can, but because i have to..

 

I don't flag myself, because having 25 years gaming experience (yes i am quite old ^^ and started with a C16) and all PVP online / mmorg games i played in the last years ended in that way that some PVP gank groups are ruin and dominiating the player world. An enjoyable gaming will then not be possible anymore. Examples: Meridian 59, UO, AoC (PVP Server), DaoC (PVP server) etcetc.. This system does not work and is only for hardcores! There is no balance playing in a PVP world. The strongest win and the frustration comes up by the weak players. That the only truth!
Else, and again and again: I've supported SotA during and after kickstarter as a game designed as a spiritual successor of the Ultima Series and not as an Ultima Online Replacement.
I am playing single player online and very rarely Multiplayer Online when the game releases.

Again, there is no reason for me to flag me as PvP. Only for those hardcore PVPlers.

im getting tired of people going off topic to start an argument! in my thread, when they can very well go start one that states "Why they do not like pvp!"grrrrrr! I even translated for him! grin! and where is Ultima Codex! he should be moderating this!

 

Calm down and sry! Was not aware of it. But your mega sized and bold letters confuse. Maybe next time add an alert also to the thread title!
But still i am against open pvp A waste of invested dev time^^

woah woah woah... you have to give me a minute to get ready. I can't just jump into PvP all willy nilly. I have to get pumped up first.

I flag pvp so I can fix problems.

 

I ll flag pvp for challenge and get more fun. In RPG, i love the freedom.

 

I flag myself PvP because i ll kill and loot you. I hate easy game and i had challenge whit open PvP sandbox.

 

i like PVP because i learn th best ways to fight and not fight (like never jump off walls of a castle!) right Abydos! That was my number 1 lesson!

 

It's exciting. I don't (usually) attack unprovoked, but it makes a dungeon, or just being out and about much more exciting when I know that there could be baddies on the prowl.

It was always fun bumping into people outside of a dungeon who'd say "Careful, there are murderers inside." and then we'd go full vigilante death squad (and usually get smote, but it was a merry old time anyway.)

 

I learn something new almost everyday. I still die most of the time but thats to be expected and its all in fun.

 

I will lfab PvP to kill anyone that can't roleplay properly, talk OOC and things like that. They must be possessed or something similar so I need to kill those demons.

To bad you you wont make the gamer harder for me, probably only a simple kill as most of the players with bad attitude
