Reselling renamed items to scam other players

    I'd love to see a more immersive punishment like this one rather than permabanning an avatar for doing something that the game's system currently allows. Sure, scamming fellow avatars is despicable but I think an instant permaban is extreme. I'd rather see their avatar sentenced to a real-time week in the local jail than that player being removed from the game permanently with no prior warnings.

    It seems the easiest fix, and most fair to everyone, is to revert the name of items when they are placed on a vendor. I see no reason why someone needs to know you renamed your Red Spider collar to Fluffy, or a backpack to Bag of Holding +6. Renaming is for the convenience of the user, not the seller.

    I could see renamed bags being useful for both the sell and buyer if they ever implemented something in the vendor process that allows us to sell bags with their contents. As long as the buyer could see into the bag before committing to it then we could sell different things in a lot. For example, "Full Plate Set for Paladin" or "Farming Starter Kit."
